George III Period Mahogany Commode

A very fine George III period mahogany Commode of highly unusual form, break and bowfront, the top edge with calamander, boxwood and ebony crossbanding and stringing, the doors quartered with very finely figured oval sections, crossbanded and strung. The ends fitted with an original drawer, retaining period handles. The whole of exceptional quality.
