George V Philips British Empire Globe An early 20th century George V Philips British Empire 8" globe. The globe is held in a carved brass arm on a turned and ebonised wood base. The globe has the printed maker's label in the centre of the pacific ocean 'George Philip & Son Ltd 32 Fleet Street London'. The globe is in fair condition with an old crack around where Japan is (possibly an earthquake!) (Circa 1930) Height 33cm (13 inches) Diameter 20.3cm (8 inches) Base Diameter 15cm (5.9 inches)
