A large, very high quality and attractive Solid Sterling silver Serving Spoon in its original fitted case. It is a superb replica of a 13th century Anointing spoon. There is an original spoon in the Tower of London collection.
Fully hallmarked for London 1912.
Makers mark of Sebastian Gerrard.
It is in an excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
The Gilded finish gives the Spoon a wonderful colour that really does catch the eye.
26cm in length
6cm across the Bowl.
It has a lovely feel to handle and weighs 93 grams.
The box is in good order and the latch secures the box shut tightly.
