A very small, very pretty inlaid walnut oval chest. Floral marquetry inlaid top with rosewood banding and brass gallery. 3 oak lined drawers with decorative inlay and ornate ormalu escutcheons, corresponding inlay to back and sides. Standing on shaped cabriole legs with ormalu mounts to feet and a shaped lower shelf inlaid with an open book and inkwell. A lovely inlaid free standing French chest, in excellent original condition.
