On the right of the riverbank are a flock of sheep, grazing, and enjoying the bright sunshine, whilst in the glistering river, there is what appears to portray a young courting couple in love, and enjoying the picturesque location in a Punt type vessel. Close by, a majestic female Swan can be seen elegantly paddling along the same riverbank, whilst on the other side of the river, a Gentleman is taking his daily stroll with his small pet pooch in toe. The attention to detail throughout this magnificent Painting is impeccable, and it is clear to see from these images why John Hooper's works were Exhibited so many times in the Royal Academy, and, to name but a few!
