Large 19th Century Simulated Marble Adams Style Fire Place This 19th Century Adams Style Fire Place was rescued from a Victorian House during extensive renovations The Fireplace is made in hard wood with a simulated white marble veined with grey finish It has a deep shaped mantlepiece beneath which there is a carved frieze, on either side of the fire opening there are superbly shaped uprights also decorated in the Robert Adams style with swags and flowers, the detail is very fine indeed The Fire place is in good condition structurally, as is the painted finish The fireplace is 49” high, 76” wide and 12” deep, the fire opening is 39” wide and 36” high EB165
