Larger than life-size faux bronze plaster bust of English concert pianist and conductor Charles Proctor (1906-1996), sculpted by his wife Rosemary Proctor (née Rennie). An unusual piece due to its scale and the subject’s forward head posture. Found together with the bust is an excerpt from a book outlining Charles’ very impressive lifetime achievements in music.
