Description
This is a wonderful Margaret Rose trinket box which is elevated slightly by three small ball feet. The trinket box is of a gilded brass and brushed brass exterior. The top is designed with beautiful silk thread-work, in blues, cream and gold, on a very pale blue silk background. This is covered to keep the design safe and clean. The interior is lined, to the top and bottom, in red felt. Made in England. Makers mark and origin to the bottom of the piece.
The condition is very good; there are two small spots to the internal felt in the main compartment and some minor tarnish marks as expected with a vintage piece which do not detract. There is a tiny dent-looking mark to the side, however this is believed to be related to the join (see last photos please).
