A delightful impressionistic painting of a woman sat reading by Max Agostini. Painted with great joie de vivre with a bright colour palette.
Agostini studied at the Paris Beaux-Arts School and is best known for his mastery of colour and impressionism. His later works are considered to be his best of which this is one.
