The surface of this fine example of Newcastle silverware is plain and unembellished. The gallery border is ornamented with embossed and engraved pales and floral motifs, in addition to an applied bead decorated border to the shaped rim. This impressive antique silver teapot stand is supported by for impressive cast sterling silver ball and claw style feet. This fine stand was crafted by the renowned and collectable Newcastle silversmiths John Langlands I & John Robertson I.
