Pair of Henry Schouten Flower Oil Paintings on Oak Board

Lovely to have a pair, these elegant flower paintings are both signed Henry Schouten (Belgian, 1864-1927) and have good quality gilt wood frames. They are a good size and will look spectacular in any room. - Oil on oak board. - Both signed bottom left. - Pink, white and yellow roses, chrysanthemums and pansies, and a vase in each picture. - Good quality gilt wood frames with mouldings and battened backs. In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There are some gaps in the mitred corners of one frame, with both pictures showing some spaces between the board and the frames. Some minor damage is visible to the tops of the boards, and one of them has what appears to be a single wormhole, with the other showing a light scratch across some of the flowers, none of which is obtrusive when hung.
