This exceptionally popular fountain pen range was launched by Parker in the USA in 1964 and, in its various finishes, was produced for the next 30 years. The design, a cross hatched pattern in sterling silver with gold plated trim, is called "Cisele". It is said that the finish was inspired by a cigarette case made by a London silversmith. The cap crown and barrel end have a gold fill flat tassie. You will note the ridged area between the nib and the barrel which was designed to increase the writer's grip. This example, dating from around 1968, comes with a Parker 14kt nib with a medium point. It is fitted with a Parker squeezebox filler unit but this may be removed and replaced with a Parker standard ink cartridge if you wish. It measures 127mm with cap on and 136mm with cap on barrel end. This excellent late vintage fountain pen is in good condition with very minor age wear. It is suitable for everyday use or to add to a vintage fountain pen collection. It has been professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. Filling instructions will be sent with your order.
