A really cute little pine chest with two short and two long drawers. Despite its size it is very roomy and practical, the drawers are clean inside and it is raised on four sturdy turned feet. Made in the 1920s it has its original wooden knobs and a 6.5cm upstand at the back. The drawer bases are ply and the bottom drawer has evidence of historical worm in two places (see photo) but this doesn't appear active and has been treated with Cuprinol just to be on the safe side. The backboard is ply and is free from worm. All the drawers slide effortlessly in and out. It has been beeswaxed to a beautiful sheen, bringing to life a variety of natural deep honey shades in the wood. FREE DELIVERY to most areas (see below) Some colours may be viewed slightly different according to the set-up of your display. Every effort is made to portray the item as it actually is through detailed images and text description, if there is anything you are unsure of, or need clarifying please message me.
