Pocket Watch: 1930s Tavannes 3 Pocket Watch

The watch has a good quality Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement with 3 adjustments which is working nicely. Originally there would have been a micro regulation addition to the regulator but this has been removed over the years, this does not affect how the movement works. The movement is signed Tavannes Watch Co, a company founded in the Jura Mountains in Switzerland in 1891 by Henri-Frédéric Sandoz. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison watch case company. The case is in lovely condition. The acrylic lens is in good condition. The white dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
