Pocket Watch: 1930s The Consol Pocket Watch

The watch has a Swiss seven jewel movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a couple of scratches where a tool has slipped in the past. The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English case manufacturer and supplier to various watch makers. The case has light marking but overall is good. The acrylic lens is in lovely condition. The dial is signed with the name The Consul, the brand name Consul was registered by several different watch makers. The dial is also signed with the details of the original retailer, Wood of Manchester. It is in lovely condition, just a little light discolouration to the subsidiary seconds dial. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
