The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little scratching and a couple of pin prick “dings”.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English case manufacturer and supplier to various watch makers. The case is in good condition, and it has engine turned detail to the reverse.
The glass lens is in good condition.
The dial is in good condition, with chunky Roman numerals.
The watch comes with a double albert, with each chain measuring 23cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The clasps appear to be later period replacements.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
