The watch has a grade 57 11-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 354965 which dates it back to 1885. The movement is protected by an inner cover which has an inspection lens.
The watch measures 55mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Crescent Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, just gentle unevenness to the back.
The glass lens has a few small marks across it but is very acceptable.
The signed dial has lever-set blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There are a couple of very small chips by the sub seconds dial but they are not too detrimental at all.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
Please contact us before placing international orders so that we can advise of shipping prices and to see if customs regulations allow us to post watches to your country. The international buyer is responsible for paying any import duties and taxes.
All of our watches are checked over before listing and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
