An exceptional and rare George III period Irish estate cabinet, crafted from the finest Cuban mahogany with a deep, lustrous patina.
The cabinet is crowned with an outswept cornice, lending a graceful sense of proportion. Below, two solid mahogany fielded panel doors, complete with their original working lock and key, open to reveal a meticulously designed interior. The right side boasts an impressive arrangement of finely crafted drawers in varying sizes and configurations, all featuring brass handles and precise dovetailed construction. A slide adds further functionality, while the left side is fitted with adjustable shelving, offering versatile storage solutions.
Every element of this cabinet is executed with remarkable crispness, from the masterful joinery to the beautifully finished surfaces. It stands on elegantly shaped ogee feet, further enhancing its stately presence.
