Description
Regency fiddleback mahogany secretaire à abattant in the manor of Gillows, with a black slate top. A cantilevered fall front, having typical Gillow mouldings, opens to reveal several drawers and pigeon holes, and an original blue leather writing surface. Secret compartments are hidden behind the drawers. The base of the cabinet features two doors, which open to reveal storage space with one shelf. The secretaire is further configured with one drawer at the top.
The whole cabinet is flanked by reeded pillars. Great quality and good secret compartments.
