A striking, porcelain bottle-shaped vase and cover produced at the Alcock factory in Stoke on Trent around 1830. Decorated with applied flowers, stems and leaves, all hand-painted in bright, naturalistic, enamel colours and topped by a domed, gilt cover. The base bears the hand-written pattern number, 1244
