Description
Swedish 18ct gold thimble with a engraved acanthus pattern design with a vacant shield cartouche, and an inset dimpled red agate top.
Swedish marks have been stamped inside, and consist of the cat's paw triple crown mark for Sweden, 18K mark for 18ct gold, crowned-G mark for Göteborg (Gothenburg), Swedish date mark H5 for 1863, and makers mark L L & C, as yet unidentified.
