Carlyon Silver has clarified that the Very Rare 18th Century Indian Filigree Silver Padan Box Karimnagar c.1760 (LA352838) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1760
Considering its age and delicacy, the paan box is in remarkable condition, there are several places where the filigree has been skillfully repaired using silver, this work is in my opinion that of an Indian craftsman and probably dates to the early 20th century.
