Victorian Brass Sextant In It’s Original Mahogany Box.
A wonderful brass sextant dating back to c.1880, It has a wonderful silver dial with the makers name “RM Barratt” West India Road London, it has all of the filters unfortunately there is one leg missing a piece of brass thread is in it’s place, the optics are missing from the brass tubes.
Although there are a few parts missing from the sextant it is in good overall condition considering it’s Victorian. The sextant comes in it’s original mahogany box with a brass handle to the side, The key is just for decoration and doesn’t work the lock.
It measures 27 x 24 and stands 13 cm high.
