This is a two part mould-blown, "Bristol" blue glass, Victorian hyacinth vase, dating from approximately 1860. The vase is in excellent condition. This means, of course, that it shows wear and tear to the base and elsewhere commensurate with use. It has a rough pontil mark on its kicked-in base. The vase is of cone shape with an everted rim,and is "Bristol" blue in colour. The rim measures 6.8 cm (2.7 inches) in diameter. The bowl flares out into a cone shape with a base that measures 9 cm (3.6 inches) in diameter. The vase is 21 cm (8.4 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches, or any obvious signs of restoration. There are a number of unburst bubbles in the metal of the vase and some light scratching from use. It weighs 465 g. (~ 1 lb.).
