John Schofield - Maker

John Schofield was a noted Silversmith working in London between 1776- 1796. Despite the short time period, Schofield was quickly noted for his very fine Neoclassical designs. Possibly supplying to the Royal household and certainly popular among the Elite, his designs embraced a restraint and sense of poise which makes his work comparable to the best 18th Century Silversmiths and highly valued today.
