Omar Ramsden was one of Englands leading Silversmiths during the 1st half of the 20th Century. In 1897 Omar began a long term collaboration with Alwyn Carr and together they produced a wide range of works, many for ecclesiastical purposes. In 1919 the pair split with Ramsen continuing his silverwork alone.
Today both Omar Ramsden’s and Alwyn Carr's works are keenly collected for their artistic quality and their connection with Arts & Crafts metalwork.
