The collaboration of Interior Designer Martina Reitbauer and Ardent Gatherer Wayne Lawless brings to you an exciting and ever evolving selection of items for your home which do not have the constraints of a particular era, no onus on any particular style or a brand agenda to respect. We are very fortunate that we can call on the assistance of skilful enthusiastic craftsmen whom we can trust to give us sound advice and deliver a first class service. Without these guys our business would be very difficult, less stimulating and more importantly less enjoyable. We choose to source across the UK believing that the British Isles offers a splendid mix of fine quality, true eccentricity, creative design and exceptional craftsmanship which very few can equal, whether it be an 18th century bank of drawers or a pair of 1970s gilded light fittings.

Description

Such a terrific shape and particularly eye-catching early 20th Century reading table / lectern. It is height adjustable by way of a ratchet system worked by the wooden side handle and is a pleasing mix of rosewood and mahogany.

Its angular form, true craftsmanship and the pure aesthetics make it a delight to own. The little front wooden wheel is a joy, the table top gently marked with years of use, as it should be and the overall different shapes it creates, fail to make us smile.

The condition is very good - no repairs, only sensible use and also we would assume home stored rather than outhouse, barn or shed.

We have not seen one like this before and it would double up perfectly into a side table, hall table or even good for a well sized bathroom.

Dimensions – Overall: Height of Surface Fully Extended 124cm and @ Lowest Level 73cm x Width 91cm x Depth 63cm
