A Stunning Victorian Rare Solid Silver & Scottish Agate Specimen antique Brooch
dating from the Late19th Century, not marked, but tested & guaranteed.
It is large and in a great condition, only the inner side of silver bezel has few very tiny bends and one tiny crack, (it's likely that the brooch has been used to wear a shawl or scarf in way the some piece of fabrics went of the middle of the brooch), and i found with magnifying glass one hair line on the one of the pink agate stones, it is not a crack, it doesn't affect all piece of stone. Please look at photos, the stones not chipped or damaged. The silver tarnished with age and has this beautiful Niello silver look.
The brooch has a safety chain with a pin.
Unique design and shape.
