Description

This is a Scottish silver brooch or Dirk Pin with a large raised claw set amethyst which is mounted in a celtic knot bordered surround. The amethyst is approx 1.5 cms across and is beautifully faceted. The pin was hallmarked in Glasgow in 1957 and made by Robert Allison. It has clear crisp hallmarks.
