Fully date authenticated locket of 105 years old
This locket is that lovely mellow rose gold found in jewellery items from the years bordering the turning of the 19th/20th century (not today's brash pink rose gold).
**Please note that any markings on this locket are due to reflection rather than a blemish or discolouration of the gold surface**
It will offer the new owner many more years safeguarding your most treasured keepsake or photographs. The hinge is sound and firm, the locket opens easily and shuts well with a reassuring “click”. Inside the locket has watered silk insets and Perspex covers, there is a 9ct gold retaining rims to the right side. The locket is firm with no buckle effect at all when pressed.
