Original ZENITH Silver 0.800 Pocket Watch Swiss 1910
You are bidding on an original silver 0.800 Zenith open faced high regulator pocket watch made in Switzerland in 1910. The watch is all clearly signed: “ZENITH” throughout dial, case and movement.
Dial: The clear and very easy to read white enamel dial has nice black Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions and lovely gold chased hands. The dial has inner 13-24 hour red Arabic numbers and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The dial is signed “Zenith” in the upper centre.
Movement: The high-grade Swiss made gilt frosted anchor lever escapement movement has 15 jewels, Breguet spiral, high swan regulator and compensated balance. The movement is signed: “Zenith” and numbered: 2341009. The movement is in working condition; however we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy for an antique watch.
Case: The watch is lying in a silver 0.800 case with all hinges closing firmly. The back of the case is engine turned and monogram free. The inner side of the case has the silver 0.800 stamp and the Zenith logo in the middle. The case is numbered: 307474/6607. The inner side of the cuvette is also numbered 6607. The cuvette has several medals and is decoratively signed: “Grand Prix Paris 1900, Medaille D’Or Geneve 1896, Ancre, Levees Visibles Double Plateau, 15 Rubis, Balancier Compense, Spiral Breguet.”
