Antique silver Omega pocket watch, c1915, in lovely condition. The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and the serial number, 4,920,265, dates it back to around 1915. The movement is protected by a signed inner cover with images of trade medals.
The case measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside the case backs, together with the Omega logo. There is a rose gold wash around the edge of the watch and it is in very nice condition with just the odd minor mark... so often, this wash has worn away. There are initials to the case back.
The glass has small marks across it but not too detrimental.
The signed white enamel dial is in beautiful condition and has Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
