Handsome English Oak Art Deco Bureau Cabinet c.1930

A good quality and very attractive Art Deco period English oak bureau with 2 shelves to either side, two “hidden storage compartments” and unusually a little glass framed cabinet door. This one has enjoyed a charmed life and survives in super condition and has enjoyed a session in our workshop so it's ready to place. Of a lighter oak than many of the period, this one is rather distinctive with its classic Deco form. The bureau drops by way of chrome arms to reveal a flight of little shelves and a small drawer to the center. As mentioned we have two oak shelves either side and a pair of lift up oak storage spaces, again either side. The oak framed glass door is original and both the drop down and cabinet storage come with working locks and keys.
