Terrific lounge chair by British designer Peter Hoyte and presented in a very nice condition with the desired angled alloy base. The slick and stunning profile of the chair wins the day with us. These were made in relatively small numbers and becoming more difficult to find in good condition. Retailed in the likes of Heals and Harrods in their day. Workshop report – This one survives in a rather splendid order. Importantly the alloy steel base is in good order with no faults or repairs. The seat is upholstered in a rich cream Cristina Marrone chenille fabric that has a subtle wave pattern which sits in fine order with no rips, marks and is perfectly usable and up for the task.
