Description
Exquisite silver filigree purse, dating from the Georgian era. The purse has a silver frame inset with fine and detailed filigree wire-work. To the front is a small shield shaped cartouche and to the top is a hinged clasp. The purse is hinged and opens to reveal the original moire interior. This elegant example would have been probably used for evenings, containing a few coins for tips and would make a lovely gift idea from a bygone age.
