Chopard is a Swiss Watchmaker which has been producing luxury watches since 1863. Founded by Louis-Ulysse Chopard who realised it was better to make and sell exceptional watches as a whole rather than just manufacture their parts, early clients would include the Swiss Railway Company and Tsar Nicholas II. Chopard has maintained a long standing connection with international cinema and during the 1920s were particularly known for their Ladies watches. Their highly elegant watches incorporate gold, diamonds and other precious stones within quite distinct cases .
