Fine and impressive antique 0.65 carat diamond and 18 carat yellow gold five stone dress ring; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive antique five stone diamond ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold. The pierced decorated, scalloped edged multi-claw design displays five Old European round cut diamonds, graduating in size. The elevated, flared ring shoulders join with the main setting at an engraved scroll decoration and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. The ring has full English hallmarks to the interior the shank, including the maker's mark 'J.S', the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct mark (18), the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor) and the date letter for 1901 (b). This impressive five stone diamond ring in yellow gold is supplied with an Idgl diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. This early 1900s dress ring is fine quality set with very high colour graded old cut diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition, with full English hallmarks to the interior of the shank. The hallmarks show wear in keeping with age, but are legible. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery/estate jewelry.
