declaration

Shires Antiques has clarified that the 1 Pint Hallmarked Solid Silver Tankard Christening Mug 289g 1943 (LA76284) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1943

condition

Excellent condition, no damage or repairs. Small dent to the edge of the foot as shown in the pictures, for information you can also see on the inside of the tankard marks where the handle has been attached to the body. I believe this was how it was manufactured and not a later repair as it's very clean and a straight line rather than an extended repair.
