This is a magnificent, stunning and impressive, large antique 15.32 carat diamond and platinum iris brooch; part of our diverse floral jewellery and estate jewelry collections This magnificent antique diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated platinum frame of this antique brooch has been modelled in the form of an iris. The floral design is ornamented with three-hundred and nine stunning diamonds, in a combination of baguette and transitional modern brilliant round cuts, totalling 15.32 carats. The elongated leaves of the design are ornamented with a total of seventy baguette cut diamonds, accented with four transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to the lower leaf's dropped terminal. The floral head is embellished with curvilinear petals and a central flute, incorporating further diamonds with baguette cuts representing the veins. The antique 1930s diamond brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged double prong pin and secure clasp fastening. This magnificent and large diamond floral brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This stunning 1930s brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Such magnificent multi-stone brooches with a multitude of high quality diamonds are becoming increasingly difficult to locate; this brooch is a work of art in its own right and the finest example you could hope to acquire.
