This is a very rare 17th Century antique carved oak Marriage box settle. It has a fantastic patina that only its great age can achieve. The chest is in great original condition with original hand forged steel hinges to the lift up seat.
This settle has been in the same cottage for the last 250 years. This is truly a unique piece of English history.
