Description
This is a very good 17th Century antique oak coffer, probably from Devon. The condition is excellent, the piece stands very well up on its feet and retains superb original hinges. The inside of the lid is lined with newspaper dated 1837, the year Victoria came to the throne. The coffer is initialed I B on the bottom rail.
