17th-century Walnut Escritoire

This 17th-century walnut escritoire dates to approximately 1695. The piece features a sloped writing surface that opens to reveal an interior with various compartments for writing materials. The craftsmanship includes intricate carvings typical of the period. The exterior is finished in a rich walnut veneer, showcasing the natural grain of the wood. This escritoire serves as a functional bureau, combining storage with a dedicated writing space,of small proportions,bow fronted chart draw. Numerous concealed drawers ,fabulous colour throughtout.
