18ct Yellow Gold Antique Style Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring

This unusual and intricately designed Edwardian style ring features, a central fine quality oval cut sapphire of 5 x 4mm and approximately 0.40ct, in a yellow collet setting within an inner border of open scrolls and brilliant cut diamond set quatrefoil motifs, and an outer ribbon border of grain set diamonds. The diamonds are of F/G colour and VVS1 clarity, and total approximately 0.30ct. The ring is mounted in 18ct yellow gold with fancy split shoulders, with a UK shank size of M 1/2, US size 6 1/4, and bears an 18ct hallmark for the Edinburgh assay office. This delicate ring is equally suitable as an engagement, anniversary or simply a dress ring.
