There is some scuffing, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, and the piece is overall a little faded. There is some movement in the joints as might be expected. The upholstery is later and dated with some fading and wear. There is some fraying in places and some wear and loss to the tassles. The chair has some signs of restoration and repair as might be expected from a piece of this age. There are some signs of old woodworm, which is not active.
