A George III period, mahogany tripod supper table, dating from the late 18th century. This quality table features a beautifully figured, single piece, solid mahogany top. Supported by a baluster stem, raised on a tripod of carved cabriole legs.
An attractive, quality table, in good condition and ready for use.

This table measures approximately 71.5 cm (28.25") tall, and the top is 80.5 cm (31.75") in diameter.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Minor old marks and blemishes. A aged partial split to the top part of the side of one of the legs. The block has been replaced at some point. The catch is a replacement, though is of a similar period. The underside of the stem and legs have been fitted with a strengthening bracket, which can been seen on almost of of these types of tables. Sensitively cleaned and waxed polished. Very well presented. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
