An attractive and uncommon 18th Century Liverpool 'Barbed Chain and Daisy Sprays Pattern' Blue and White Porcelain Saucer by John and Jane Pennington.
Three daisy floral sprays spaced around a barbed chain motif with a central flower sprig.
c1785-94
Transfer printed.
In reasonable condition with no repairs or restoration but
the rim transfer is not all evenly positioned. There is also
some excess blue on the underside as shown and a couple
of surplus porcelain pit marks.
