18THC Longcase Clock Fine English Oak Ashford Grandfather Clock Painted Dial C1757 Fine longcase clock Wonderful white painted dial Oak case with pendulum viewing glass to trunk Familiar English case 8-day striking movement Removable hood Movement & case C1757 Working order Measures 208cm up by 46cm wide & 23cm deep Wonderful 18th century very early painted dial Long case this English oak cased Longcase benefits from a wonderful arch top with three matching finials the hood has inset panels with wooden caps lovely early case of early construction with a bull’s-eye pendulum viewing panel in the door step base with working lock for the trunk door. This incredible clock with good decoration Roman Arabic numerals with cut steel handles the deal is signed W Flint of Ashford the 1st line a long line of family makers from Ashford. Also has a date aperture this is a good tall early English long case and this is Clock measures 208cm high by 46cm wide by 23cm deep Very good condition for age, showing slight signs or age please view the many photos make sure happy.
