Description
This 18th century Swiss pewter Stegkanne, created between 1770 and 1800, features a traditional design, a baluster body, curved decorated thumb piece and figure head knop , a hexagonal spout attached to the body by a moulded arm it has two wrigglework tulips either side of the spout and an engraved inscription
VER T CHR JANNE FURMANN GEW JACOB STOCER , possibly a marriage ewer, it stands 31cms high
