Description
Good 18th century George 3rd country Chippendale walnut arm or desk chair of generous proportions. Square legs with moulded corner united by stretchers near the base. Nice shape back with pierced back splat and carved and shaped top rail. Drop in seat with needlework cover which has some age. The chair has been well used but has no structural problems just wear and tear with normal use.
The chair is a lovely colour with original patination and waxed finish.
SIZE; 24" wide by 19" deep by 35" high. Seat height is 17".
