1901 Queen Victorian Fob For A Pocket Watch Chain Antique Memoriam Photograph Fob

Victorian (Arts & Crafts) Gentleman's original Queen Victoria pocket watch chain Antique memoriam fob. Measures; 2.9cm height (including the top ring), 2cm diameter and weighs 2.3 grams. Lovely wide brass 'drum' case (measures 3.5mm depth) holding to the front an old sepia photograph of Queen Victoria. The back is stamped in Gothic black script on ivory coloured card; In Memoriam Jan.22. 1901 and carries an elaborate acanthus leaf decoration around the circumference with the Royal Crown to top. Both the photograph and the card are encapsulated behind their original clear celluloid lenses. Copper bail and robust silver nickel secure top ring. Superb clean and bright condition with just a tiny bit of overall wear/patina and few little surface scratches commensurate with age.
